FIELD NOTE

On this page

What you’ll read.

This policy explains the information ClimbSignal collects through project enquiries, free website review requests, newsletter signups and related services, how it is used and protected, and how you can contact Praveen Miriyala about your information.

01 / Who is responsible for your information?

ClimbSignal is a registered MSME studio (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-AP-10-0152913) operated by Praveen Miriyala, based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. In this policy, “ClimbSignal”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ClimbSignal and its proprietor Praveen Miriyala. This policy covers personal information collected through this website, free website review requests and related project enquiries.

02 / Information you share with us

When you submit a project enquiry or request a free website review, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, website URL, areas or services of interest, project goals, budget range, preferred timing and any additional context you share. If you select “Other”, we also receive the details you describe. Some fields are optional; each form clearly identifies required fields.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and the signup details recorded with your submission. If you arrange a discovery call or become a client, we may also receive appointment details, correspondence, project materials and billing information needed to prepare an agreement or invoice.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive personal data through public website forms. Share only information you are authorised to provide.

03 / Information recorded when you visit

The website, its hosting environment and form tools may record technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages requested, submission time and security or error logs. This information helps operate the website, investigate technical problems and protect forms against misuse.

WordPress and related tools may use cookies or browser storage for functions such as administrator login, security and site preferences. Browser settings let you inspect, block or delete cookies; blocking essential storage may affect some functions. This policy does not treat a visit as permission for optional advertising or tracking.

04 / Why we use your information

We use enquiry and website-review details to understand your request, inspect the URL you share, reply with our findings or recommendations, prepare a proposal and manage any work you agree to. We use appointment details to arrange and manage calls. We use technical information to maintain the site and prevent spam or abuse. We may also keep information needed for business records, resolving disputes or meeting applicable legal obligations.

Newsletter signup is separate from a project enquiry or website review request. We use a newsletter subscription only to manage that subscription and send ClimbSignal field notes when published. Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. We never sell your personal information.

05 / Newsletter choices

You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by emailing [email protected], or through our contact form using the email address associated with your subscription. We may keep a minimal suppression record to ensure we do not subscribe you again unintentionally.

06 / Tools, service providers and sharing

Enquiries and newsletter signups are collected using Fluent Forms and stored in this website’s WordPress database. Hosting, website maintenance and email providers may process information as needed to operate these services.

If we arrange a meeting through an external service such as Google Meet, the invitation will identify that service. Information you provide directly to an external provider is also subject to its own privacy terms. This policy does not mean an external calendar integration is currently connected.

We share information only as needed to provide a requested service, with your permission, or when required by applicable law. We do not make form submissions public. Providers may process information outside your state or country; we use appropriate safeguards where applicable law requires them.

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect the contact form against spam and automated abuse. This service processes technical information needed for verification, such as browser, device and network information. See Google’s reCAPTCHA documentation for details. Enquiry notification emails and acknowledgements are delivered through Hostinger Email.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to protect newsletter signups against spam and automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser, device and network to verify requests. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.

07 / AI tools and project information

ClimbSignal uses AI tools to support research, creative exploration, development and workflow tasks. We aim to use public, anonymised or sample material for these tasks. We will seek your permission before sharing identifiable enquiry information or confidential client materials with an external AI service, unless that use is already expressly covered by an agreement with you. Please tell us about any confidentiality or tool restrictions before work begins.

08 / Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including ongoing enquiries, client work, subscription management and any applicable record-keeping requirements. Retention can vary by the type of record. You can ask us to review whether we still need your information.

We use reasonable measures to restrict access and protect information. No website, email service or storage system can guarantee complete security. When information is deleted from active systems, copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced, or in records that must be retained by law.

09 / Your requests and concerns

You may contact Praveen Miriyala at [email protected] or through our contact form (including “Privacy request” in your message) to request access to information you supplied, correct inaccurate details, ask for deletion, withdraw newsletter consent or raise a privacy concern. We may ask for enough information to verify that a request relates to you; please do not send government identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure channel.

We will review and respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act). Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax or accounting obligations or unresolved disputes. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

10 / Children, external links and updates

This website and its services are intended for adults seeking professional website services. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Links to other websites, including social profiles, lead to services with their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The updated date on this page identifies the current version; where required, we will provide an additional notice or seek consent for a material change.
